Our Start is unique. We began fundraising for the Susan G Komen 3-Day. We designed one t-shirt as a fundraising item. We sold over 1,000 t-shirts that first year. From there, we added more shirts, bracelets, garden stones, etc. After the walk in 2010, raising over $80,000, we decided to do something different with our efforts, and Pink Courage was created.
We continue to raise awareness through our fundraising efforts with our mobile Pink Courage store. Our fundraising has been grassroots, attending charity fundraisers, sporting events, and other various breast cancer related functions.
We are excited to share that our original, homemade website will be getting a face-lift. Our new website and online Pink Courage store launches Summer of 2013!
Pink Courage achieved 501(c)(3) status in March of 2013.
